Flag Counter not posting to Blogger
Hi, when I tried posting via the quick post it says login failed. Create a blog.
I ended up posting it using Blogger gadget.

Someone has reported a similar problem with the quick post on the forum recently and this is what the flag counter developer had to say:

Thanks Notturno. Yes, correct username/password. It happens occasionally, this wasn't the first time. I was updating my Flagcounters yesterday and they worked fine.
Mersinar - In Blogger, go to Design, click "Add a gadget", select HTML/JavaScript, do a C&P of the code. In the title box, I write "Visitors" . Click save.

You are spot on BlossomFlowerGirl! It is indeed a good way to add pictures, videos, etc. and works great in Wordpress blogs (although they call them widgets) but I cannot make the counter appear in my Blogger blog. The counter should appear just above "Followers" in the right-hand sidebar, but does not. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Hi Jens,
In the post you are referring to, I cut and pasted the counter code into two different Wordpress blogs not realising that they had to be specific for each blog/website, therefore getting the same number of flags... dough! Problem solved thanks to your help! :-)
Here, my question relates to a Blogger blog (I have three blogs: 2 with Wp's and 1 with Blogger)... I inserted a counter code using a HTML gadget but it does not appear on the sidebar. I don't understand why.
Sorry about the confusion. Maybe if you knew I had 3 blogs, it would have made more sense...

Sorry, I didn't know that you operate three blogs.
I don't have experiences with blogger but know that several people have a flag counter on blogger. I suggest to
a) either open a new topic and wait for response or b) check the forum for blogger and send the owner a PM to get the appropriate information.

I have a blogger website and this is how I added mine
Go to Layout
Add a gadget (make sure it is the add a gadget button above the sidebar you want to add it too)
Click HTML/Java script
Add a title if you want (Flag Counter or whatever)
Post in your flagcounter code in the box below title
Click save (at bottom)
Save arrangement (at the top of the main layout page)
Refresh your webpage

@Jayefbee, great pictures! And if you ever feel homesick, have a look at my English birds! :-) Also, thank you for the instructions above. This is exactly what I did but I still could not get it to work. The good news is that I finally managed to solve my problem!!!! It was due to the type of template I was using.
So, @Jens, if anyone asks in the future, here is the answer:
The flag counter cannot be displayed on a Blogger blog if you use the Interactive Views Template. You will need to switch to a different type (Simple, Awesome Inc., etc.) and then follow Jayefbee's instructions.
