User names with flags ?
Hi guys, I've just been thinking about something for the past few months... Is it possible to have flags along with our user names in the forum ? No need for Java or Flash software, just a simple image.
For example;
<User name>
<User photo>
<Location + Flag >
<Registered date>
<Posts>
<Private Message>
I think it would be really great if this feature were to be implemented in the forum. Of course, if it is not possible, then it's okay too.

Do you mean that boardhost will replace you country with the country flag?
That would cause a separate entry at the <From:> section.

well, I guess this is a issue from the board.
I think jeremy can't do that, unless he modifies the board code.

Yes Jens, that is exactly what I meant. I have seen that feature in other forums too. Of course, those who do not wish to state their country of residence can leave it blank too.

That is what I fear as well. However, I noticed that the '' Private Message '' feature was implemented in 2011. Previously, users had to e-mail others instead. Maybe, just maybe this '' Flag '' option is possible too.
Of course, if it is NOT possible to modify the forum build, then it is absolutely okay too.
