Boardgamegeek is transitioning from http to https
Please see the below e-mail from Boardgamegeek.com
For the last few years i have been posting on a special area for flag counter collectors. I have collected many new flags from the other flag collectors who also regularly post on there.
Unfortunately BGG are moving from a http to an https site and this is causing some problems for the many flag collectors on the site.
Now i have a pro account but not been very tech savy it appears my pro account is also only http.
Can anyone confirm if we have a https log in and if so how do i apply it to my flag counter
Below is the info from the BBG team
Bad news, flag counters: Because of the transition on the site, the flag counters will no longer work unless you upgrade to a flag counter pro account, and use their https link for your flag images.
The counters will still show for now, but all click will seem to come from the US--our servers.
We worked hard to try to find a way around this, but we didn't find a solution. Unfortunately, if we had continued to allow the use of http flag counter images, all pages with flag counters would show alarming "insecure mixed content" notices on pages. Some browsers wouldn't load the images at all.
Again, we're sorry about this. If you happen to be a programmer, and know of some other workaround for this, let me know, and if it seems practical, we'll do what we can to fix it.

pro counters work fine on https. just change that part of your code.
