@PhreedomPhan

Interesting that you worked for Pan Am. What did you worked with there?

I worked as an inspector of Pratt&Whitneys JT9D, JT8D and PW4000 engines for 10 years.
So we been in the same branch

Re: I Want the Truth Out - Not Flags In

I was nothing close to that, Balut.  I was a lowly Customer Service Rep at the the ticket counter in Philadelphia.  I left an industrial engineering job for it because I caught the travel bug when I was in the army.  I had a brief experience in aviation before Pan Am. I was in Germany in the army and went on leave to England and France.  While in Paris I became the first kid from my block to fly a paper airplane from the Eiffel Tower.  Had I been an aircraft or engine inspector at Pan Am, there probably would have been a lot more air disasters.

Jan, that's cheating.  I take it you're using that Polish ISP from the Netherlands.  I did have visitors from Poland before, but that counter died.  This is the most reliable counter I've had although I originally made the mistake of using the same code in both blogs so a visitor to one shows up in the other also.

Hehe, no, I don't cheat. The truth is that I live in two countries, spending about half of my time in each of them. At the moment I am in Poland. Honestly, I wouldn't even know how to cheat like that. Heck, I don't even know what an ISP is!

I am interested in alternate history, but more in the real history that doesn't show up in the media or "official" history from the academic world.  That NWO map is real.  It was likely the work of the World Federalists funded largely by Carnegie.

That is an interesting field of history as well. It has been years ago, but when I studied history I considered writing a thesis about falsified history. There are a few occurrences where it has been proven that the current image we have of certain historical evens was entirely based on a falsification. Not exactly the same thing as what you're writing about, but at least related.

Althistory is an entirely different can of worms, of course!

Forget synthetic language.

Och, I tend to look at constructed languages as a form of art, basically. What's the use? Basically nothing, except for the pleasure of making it or looking at it. But then, what's the use of a painting or a symphony?

Jan

Re: I Want the Truth Out - Not Flags In

I think it was an Orwell character who said, "He who controls the past controls the future.  He who controls the present controls the past."  It sounds like you've a lot to keep you busy, but if you still have an interest in history, http://yamaguchy.netfirms.com has a great collection of old history in ebooks, many on the history of money and banking.

ISP is just short for Internet Service Provider.  The people who provide the link to the internet.

That was not intended to belittle synthetic language.  It's just that I've had no use for languages other than English for 40 years.  As far as synthetic history is concerned, in a sense all fiction writing is a form of synthetic history although not so well developed as something like Tolkien's work.  Then again, it's possible Tolkien didn't write fiction.  Maybe an alternate plain was opened to him.  Maybe "Middle Earth" existed in a middle "Big Bang" universe.  From what I'm told, eternity is a pretty long time.  Who's to say there haven't been many contractions and explosions of what we know as the universe.  It's fun to speculate at leisure, but I'm not going to spend a lot of time on it.

It's interesting that you live in two countries.  What takes you between them?  Business?  Government?

Visited, but did you bother to read anything?  I found your trucking site very interesting as I did the public transportation, travel photos, and the experimental German weapons of WWII sites of others here.  Unfortunately, I've had to put aside personal interest to try to fight global government of, by, and for the super rich.  I'm fighting so that our children will still have someplace to go in the buses, other lands to visit, goods to transport, and won't be victims of more lethal weapons supplied to each side by the same people as in the past.  I'm fighting so that no Communist, Socialist, or Fascist government will own or control everything on behalf of the rich who own or control those governments.
